Where to Eat this Month - The Beaumont Hotel
There are a number of dining options at The Beaumont, including The American Bar and The Colony Grill Room. The Cub Room is a private bar and lounge, for the exclusive use of hotel residents and their visitors. The Lotos Room is our dining room for private events. The Colony takes its lead from the traditional Grill Rooms originally found in London and New York, and serves appropriately classic dishes from both sides of the Atlantic. It restaurant is open seven days a week, throughout the day, for food and drinks. Jimmy's is naturally an 'American Bar', such as was prevalent in London and Paris in the 1920s and early 30s. Specialising in Bourbons and American Whiskies with all cocktails strictly only shaken or stirred - nothing new-fangled! Hemingway & Fitzgerald would have felt at home… Open every day for drinks, cocktails, hot beverages, light snacks, American sandwiches, salads, steaks and sundaes. My rating 10/10.
