17th Post - September Overview
Finally, here are my recommendations for September, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen and eat. In the meantime, September has a lot to offer especially in London, so head this month and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and best events in the capital.
Laduree
Summer is coming to a close so why not try the delicious treats to beat the Autumn blues as Laduree is best-known for their macaroons and other confections, the Paris-based Ladurée has opened a branch in Covent Garden Piazza. This is their third in London, the flagship being a remarkable café inside Harrods. While this latest Ladurée doesn’t have the same wow factor, the location is hard to beat, opposite the Apple store and with outdoor tables on the cobbled piazza. Be warned though that you’ll be assailed by street performers, as their main stage is right next door.
Open House London
The annual Open House London weekend, which takes place on Saturday Sep 19–Sunday Sep 20 2015, gives Londoners the chance to explore behind the closed doors of some of the capital's biggest, most renowned and most secret venues for free this September. This is your chance to explore a bit of hidden London and have a poke around some of London's best buildings. Check out our pick of 2015's events below and get ready for some serious snooping this September.
When is Open House London?It takes place for one weekend and one weekend only - Saturday September 19–Sunday September 20 2015.
Where is Open House London?Across the whole of London, with the full programme of architectural venues spanning 30 of the capital's boroughs.
What is Open House London?An annual celebration of London's architecture and design, which allows access to 800-odd venues not normally open to the public – private homes, government buildings, historic sites, educational establishments..Open House London. - but it's not just about being nosy, there's also loads of walks and tours to bring the buildings alive.
But, if you feel like relaxing this month, then put your feet up and enjoy Glamour magazine, full of celebrity gossip, style and scandals!! Hope you all enjoy my recommendations and have a fun time in September.
