35th Post - March Overview

Finally, here are my recommendations for March, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen and eat. In the meantime, March has a lot to offer especially in London, so head this month and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and best events in the capital. Spring has sprung, and – like the flower beds in Hyde Park – London's events calendar is bursting into action. Outdoor fun is on the rise, but there are still plenty of brilliant exhibitions, pop-ups and markets for those of you not quite ready to hang up your big coat just yet.

They say the early bird gets the worm. Inspiring motivation. If you're the bird. The worm, however, has no idea when her future will be plucked away by the next airborne attacker. The Beatles sang, Living is easy with eyes closed. But even with our eyes open we all still have blind spots. Or maybe we're just looking in the wrong place. But when we finally do see the light, it's Strawberry Fields Forever...

Garden of Light:

Paternoster Square is turning yellow as 2,100 handmade daffodils descend on the space to mark the Great Daffodil Appeal 2017, with each flower representing a Marie Curie nurse who provides care and support for people living with terminal illness. The garden features a daffodil meadow and a memory wall where visitors can post messages for loved ones and will be illuminated in the evenings.
