June 2017 - Film
Welcome All!
In terms of new films this month, here are two recommendations that you may find entertaining in the cinema this month.
Films in June:
This month Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron star in Baywatch which see Mitch and his ‘Baywatch’ team keep people safe and protect the beach. But when a sinister criminal scheme threatens the Bay, they find themselves forced to step up their game. Unfortunately, their funding’s been cut and they’ve had to hire former Olympian Matt Brody for a PR boost. But Matt’s a reckless daredevil idiot, and he immediately clashes with the straightforward, no-nonsense Mitch. The iconic TV series makes its triumphant return on the big screen in ‘Baywatch’, starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron as the mismatched lifeguards-turned-wannabe-police. My rating 8/10.

Baby Driver sees a talented getaway driver Baby (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. After meeting the woman (Lily James) of his dreams, he sees a chance to ditch his shady lifestyle and make a clean break. Coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), Baby must face the music as a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom. My rating 9/10.
