This Year's Best Dresses - 2017
This has seen some great style and fashion on the red carpet and here we have the stars that raised the bar for red carpet glamour.... Here we have the best red carpet moments this year...
Hailee Steinfeld:
For Hailee Steinfeld, one Oscars look just isn't enough. The surprise finale of Sunday's Academy Awards may have left the crowd in shock, but many attendees had to dash from the ceremony to prepare for the evening's slate of after-parties, including the Governors Ball and two bashes thrown by Vanity Fair and Elton John. The after-parties were the main event for some celebs, who weren't invited or skipped the red carpet festivities and saved their looks for after the Oscars wrapped. After showing off a Ralph & Russo gown on the Oscars red carpet, Hailee Steinfeld slipped into a sleeker number by the same designer for the Vanity Fair Oscar party.
Hailee Steinfeld looked sensational as she stepped onto the red carpet at the Oscars in Los Angeles.
The A-list star was working her gorgeous features in a stunning Ralph and Russo halter neck floral embroidered gown. I loved the delicate floral appliques and the sheer fabric in the pale lavender hue which looked an ethereal vision and suited her complexion perfectly.
Emma Stone:
Her movie La La Land channels old style Hollywood musicals. And Emma Stone looked every inch the stellar movie goddess in a star-embellished gown at the 74th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday in Beverly Hills. The 28-year-old dazzled in an elegant nude-coloured gown which revealed her toned arms and stunning figure. The actress showcased her cleavage in the Valentino gown, picked for her by stylist Petra Flannery. She kept the sophisticated side up with the addition of a Tiffany drop choker. Her trademark auburn tresses were styled in a side parting, with bangs swept across her pretty face and flashing her $10,500 platinum diamond Tiffany stud earrings.
Taraji P. Henson stepped out in a navy off-the-shoulder velvet gown with a thigh-high slit at the 2017 Oscars styled by Jason Bolden, the Hidden Figures actress paired her the custom Alberta Ferretti look with Nirav Modi jewels, and Jimmy Choo shoes and bag.

Blake Lively:
Blake Lively always gets it right when it comes to style, making her a regular on best dressed lists.
And her feathered frock was definitely one of our favourites from last night's Met Gala. Guess who just so happened to perfectly match the blue and cream carpet? Her dress is a custom made design by Atelier Versace and we're swooning over the combination of the gold embellished dress and the peacock blue feather trim train.
Lea Michele:
Lea Michele ensured all eyes were well and truly on her as she hit the red carpet at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The actress, 31, looked busty in a dramatic royal purple low-cut gown, which was covered in glittering sequins. Cinched in the middle to show off her slim waist, the star's dress fanned out to give a true princess look. Lea wore her dark locks straight, and accentuated her striking features with expertly-applied make-up, accessorizing with a pair of purple sapphire, emerald and white diamond Lorraine Schwartz earrings.
Taraji P Henson:
Mandy Moore:
America's sweetheart Mandy Moore turned up the daring appeal at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, stepping out in a deep-v caped black gown by Naeem Khan, this elegant look is timeless and definitely one of my favorite dresses from 2017. The 32-year-old This Is Us star is nominated for her first award for her role opposite Milo Ventimiglia in the NBC hit drama.
Jennifer Lawrence:
Stepping out to the London premiere of her new horror flick, Jennifer looked truly incredible in an intricate cobweb lace dress by Atelier Versace. The dress is simultaneously both barely-there and incredibly intricate, with the embellished detail adding a luxe feel. The cobweb-esque pattern only adds to the drama of the dress and quite frankly we just can't stop looking at it. Versace are known for their unique and sexy designs, so it's no surprise the label are behind this stunning creation.
Bella Hadid:
The 19-year-old model stunned on the red carpet at GQ's Men of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday night, showing off skin in all the right places in a gorgeous nude gown. Gigi's little sister wowed in a custom off-the-shoulder Hugo Boss dress, completing her look with a delicate diamond choker, a flashy ring, and strappy sandals.
