54th Post - October Overview

Finally, here are my recommendations for October, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen and eat. In the meantime, October has a lot to offer especially in London, so head this month and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and best events in the capital. The return of crisp days and cold evenings mean we're on the verge of winter, but that's no excuse to hibernate. October is all about long leafy walks, pubs with fires and fancy dress (for Halloween, of course).

Often overlooked in favour of its bigger, goth-tinged neighbours, Queen’s Crescent is one of Camden’s oldest markets, and within walking distance of Parliament Hill Fields and Primrose Hill.

Halloween Thriller Night:

Head to Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes for I Love The 80s Vs I Love The 90s' Thriller Halloween Party and dance the night away to retro and scary tunes. £5-£7, book ahead, 27 October

CANDLELIGHT CLUB:

Live music, cabaret and variety shows are just some of the entertainment on offer at The Candlelight Club's Jazz Age themed Halloween Ball, taking place in a secret vintage location. From £30, book ahead, 27 October
