66th Post - October Overview

Finally, here are my recommendations for October, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen and eat. In the meantime, October has a lot to offer especially in London, so head this month and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and best events in the capital. The return of crisp days and cold evenings mean we're on the verge of winter, but that's no excuse to hibernate. October is all about long leafy walks, pubs with fires and fancy dress (for Halloween, of course).
They say the early bird gets the worm. Inspiring motivation. If you're the bird. The worm, however, has no idea when her future will be plucked away by the next airborne attacker. The Beatles sang, Living is easy with eyes closed. But even with our eyes open we all still have blind spots. Or maybe we're just looking in the wrong place. But when we finally do see the light, it's Strawberry Fields Forever...

London Cocktail Week

Get ready to be shaken and stirred, because London’s annual celebration of the perfectly mixed spirit is back. A £10 digital pass entitles you to £6 cocktails in many of the capital’s best bars all week across an elongated 10-day week (to celebrate the fact that it's LCW's 10th anniversary). It'll also get you into the immersive ‘Cocktail Village’, which this year sits inside the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane.  A £10 pass will get you a mammoth amount for your money. Along with access to the Cocktail Village, over 300 of the capital's best bars will be offering up specially created cocktails for just £6. It gives you the chance to do a cocktail crawl or just slope into top spots like Dalston Mezcal joint Hacha, London Bridge's tropical Nine Lives and funky Marylebone hotspot Fam
