93rd Post - January Overview

Finally, here are my recommendations for January, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen and eat. In the meantime, January has a lot to offer especially in London, so head this month and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and best events in the capital.

They say the early bird gets the worm. Inspiring motivation. If you're the bird. The worm, however, has no idea when her future will be plucked away by the next airborne attacker. The Beatles sang, Living is easy with eyes closed. But even with our eyes open we all still have blind spots. Or maybe we're just looking in the wrong place. But when we finally do see the light, it's Strawberry Fields Forever...

Hogwarts in the Snow

Grab your cloak, The Harry Potter Studio Tour gets a frosty and festive makeover

Yeah winter is magical, but say you want to add some magic to your magical, what would be a way of doing that? Ooo, how about taking the Harry Potter (that’s magic) tour at Warner Bros studio, EXCEPT, the studio is transformed into a wintery version of Hogwarts too?

Woah, that’s a lot of magic, don’t you think? Yup. Well, brace yourselves, this year for the first time ever the Forbidden Forest will also be accessible, and those willows and woodlands too will be dusted in snow (should be a bit chilly for the spiders, don’t worry). 

Of course, the other classic locations of the Harry Potter world are also very much feeling festive too. The Great Hall’s wreaths are pinned up, and Christmas trees are topped with witches on miniature broomsticks. The Hogwarts castle model will be covered in a layer of glistening snow made by the prop team and so much more will be there to see and marvel at, in the most magical place during the most magical time of the year.

But, if you feel like relaxing this month then put your feet up and enjoy Vogue magazine, full of celebrity gossip, style and secrets!!
