I think... I think when it's all over it just comes back in flashes, you know? It's like a kaleidoscope of memories, it just all comes back. But he never does. I think part of me knew the second I saw him that this would happen. It's not really anything he said or anything he did, it was the feeling that came along with it. And the crazy thing is I don't know if I'm ever gonna feel that way again, but I don't know if I should. I knew his world moved too fast and burned too bright, but I just thought, how can the devil be pulling you toward someone who looks so much like an angel when he smiles at you? Maybe he knew that when he saw me. I guess I just lost my balance. I think that the worst part of it all wasn't losing him, it was losing me...

See you in June, when I'll be sharing style secrets, as well as style tips and things to do to get you 'in the know' for Summer 2023 whatever it may bring!!

Crown to Couture

Royal W8 pile Kensington Palace has been closed all winter while careful preparations have been underway for its latest blockbuster exhibition. ‘Crown to Couture’ is billed as an immersive journey through the dresses and clothes of the Georgian era and an exploration of how these 200-year-old garments have inspired iconic red-carpet looks today.

Everyone from Charles II to Lizzo and Lady Gaga are featured through the 200 objects on show. Historic items include the Rockingham Mantua, a bombastic court dress from Historic Royal Palaces’ Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection, the Silver Tissue Gown worn at Charles II’s court, Lady Gaga’s luminous green MTV Awards dress and Lizzo’s Thom Browne dress from the 2022 Met Gala. The opulent palace rooms have been transformed into a catwalk by Alexander McQueen’s production designer Joseph Bennett, so you can expect something royally special.
