1. Hugo Spritz

Hugo Spritz Cocktail

The Hugo, a popular alcoholic aperitif, has its origins in South Tyrol and is now widely consumed in Triveneto, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. This refreshing beverage is made from a combination of prosecco, elderflower syrup (or lemon balm syrup), seltzer (or sparkling water), and mint leaves and has to be our summer favourite!

Ready for a summer heatwave? This Heatwave Cocktail is a refreshing blend of Coconut, Peach, Orange, Pineapple and Grenadine. A perfect summer cooldown drink!

3. Southside Fizz

The Southside Fizz is a citrusy refreshing summer cocktail. There are a few theories on where the name for this one comes from. It is believe that it was created at the Southside Sportsmen’s Club on Long Island. Others believe that the name refers to the South Side of Chicago and that it may have been a favourite of Al Capone, whose gang dominated the South Side.

4. Frozen Watermelon Margaritas

These Frozen Watermelon Margaritas are a summery fruity twist on the classic Margarita. The Margarita Cocktail is presumed to originate from Mexico although some recipes date it back to around the 1930’s. Where ever it originates from it is enjoyed all around the world.

5. Strawberry Basil Smash

The Basil Smash Cocktail is an unusual drink as it features the Basil herb as one of the main components, so we guess it basically makes it one of your five a day. The original Basil Smash Cocktail was created by Jörg Meyer of the Le Lion Bar de Paris (Hamburg) in 2008. It won the “Best New Cocktail” at the 2008 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards. The Strawberry Basil Smash is a summer twist on this cocktail!
