Emily Blunt proved that even when she’s not filming The Devil Wears Prada 2, her looks are worthy of a fashion insider. For her latest show stopping style moment, Blunt’s venue of choice was the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, where she arrived to promote her new biographical sports drama, The Smashing Machine. The movie tells the story of former wrestler and MMA fighter Mark Kerr, and for its global premiere, Blunt wore a look from the Tamara Ralph Fall 2025 Couture collection—one that certainly would’ve made Miranda Priestly proud.
The shimmering rose-gold dress could have doubled as a mirrorball, thanks to its sparkly fabric that hugged the actor’s body and glistened with every touch of light. The strapless maxi featured a rounded bodice, as well as sunburst-like folds in the skirt that were formed thanks to gathered material on one side. But the true highlights of the gown were the two teardrop-shaped molds that decorated the neckline and one of Blunt’s hips, like incandescent drips oozing across her body.
To complete the look, Blunt parted her hair down the middle and tucked it behind her ears, so as to fully display her silver-and-pink chandelier earrings from Tiffany & Co. She also wore a large, floral-shaped ring from Tiffany to match, and her plum-coloured lip completed the colour scheme perfectly.
Shailene served up a Fendi Resort 2026 gown belongs at Venice and finally hit the sweet spot. The jewel-toned sequins shimmered with just the right amount of boldness, while the fluid cut gave her a statuesque presence on the carpet. It wasn’t fussy or over-styled—just glamorous in a way that felt natural to her. This was Shailene leaning into her red carpet confidence, and it worked beautifully. The Bvlgari jewels and Roger Vivier Epine sandals were the finishing touches, but really, it was her ease in the gown that sold the whole look.
