A great Green Lanes gastropub from the Papi chappies, aka chef Matthew Scott and sommelier Charlie Carr. This superior roast is delivered in the dining area of this new pub near Newington Green, and is one for the ages. Grilled Yorkshire hogget chops come smeared with luminescent mint sauce, rolled pork loin is encased in the most perfect, puckered crackling and dolloped with bramley apple ketchup while beef fat roast potatoes are some kind of heavenly child of chips and jacket spuds. Sleep on the mint choc chip ice cream at your peril.
