30th Post - October Overview
Finally, here are my recommendations for October, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen and eat. In the meantime, October has a lot to offer especially in London, so head this month and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and best events in the capital. The return of crisp days and cold evenings mean we're on the verge of winter, but that's no excuse to hibernate. October is all about long leafy walks, pubs with fires and fancy dress (for Halloween, of course).
School of Rock: The Musical:
Andrew Lloyd Webber's unexpected Broadway hit moshes over to the West End. They may not be your stereotypical idea of rock gods but Andrew Lloyd Webber and Julian Fellows have come together to bring 'School of Rock' to the stage. This musical version of the zany Jack Black film about a down and out musician who becomes an awesome music teacher opened on Broadway this month. The reviews have been, if not glowing, then warmish. London audiences will get to decide if it floats our boats when it transfers to the New London Theatre in October.
London Literature Festival:
The London Literature Festival once again fills the Southbank Centre with acclaimed authors, poets, speakers and collaborators for a fortnight of wordy events. Celebrating its tenth year in 2016, the festival will include live readings, talks and workshops.
But, if you feel like relaxing this month then put your feet up and enjoy Glamour magazine, full of celebrity gossip, style and secrets!! Hope you all enjoy my recommendations and have a great time in October...
See you in November, when I'll be sharing style secrets for Winter, places to go and things to do and buy and get you ready for this Christmas season.
