Braids for Every Occasion
Summer may be long gone, but braids never go out of style. Try these creative ideas below to take braids to a whole new level this Winter...
Flirty Fishtail:
1. Pull hair to one side and run a boar bristle brush through strands to add extra lift.
2. Spritz on dry shampoo (Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush £6.99) to create texturized strands that will hold your style better.
3. Loosely gather your hair to one side and split into two seconds. Take a small segment from under the left section and add it to the right. Then take a segment from the right and add it to the left. Repeat all the way down.
4. Secure with an elastic, then wrap a piece of hair around it hide the hair tie.

3. Pull the loose section in front of your shoulder and tie a piece of jewellery wire at the top.
4. Begin braiding, including the wire along with one section of your braid. Use the wire as an elastic at the end, tying a knot at the end of you braid. Cut any excess wire so it doesn't hand lower than your hair.
Messy Mermaid:
An unexpected fishtail turns laid-back loose waves into a must steal mermaid style...
1. Loosely Curl 1 inch sections of hair all over and spritz curl with hairspray to hold in place.
2. Gather a 2 inch section of hair at the center of you part and begin the braid an inch away from the part.
3. Secure with an elastic letting the braided section hang down, and blend in the with the rest of your strands.
