Fashion: Delicately Daring

Taylor Swift took a pause from her Reputation tour to hit up the Billboard Music Awards. The star strutted into the party in Atelier Versace, this marking her first red carpet appearance in two years. While Taylor's known for her leggy looks, this rose-coloured gown, which featured regal helpings of feathers and beads and a long, floor-trailing cape, was something else. Taylor's slit was so high that our jaws dropped to the floor as the singer stepped with such confidence especially considering the insane platform on her metallic heels, etched with snake-like detail. Taylor's snake ring completed the story, and she finished her outfit with Hueb earrings.

 

 

Keeping up with the "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" theme, Gigi Hadid's custom Versace gown for the 2018 Met Gala was inspired by the stained glass windows of a church. But it's not the glass-inspired details you'll see right through . . . it's the sky-high slit that shows off her entire leg! The 23-year-old model's shimmering Versace gown is a true work of art, complete with shimmering segments of fabric stitched together to create a flowing, single-sleeved masterpiece reminiscent of an ancient cathedral. Gigi accessorised the dress with simple drop earrings and a sleek hairstyle.
