62nd Post - June Overview
So here are June's posts, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen, eat, read and of course not forgetting about June's hottest beauty products and making sure you embrace this Summer's most elegant look. In the meantime, June has much to offer especially in London, head out this June and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and happenings in the capital.
Mick, Keith and their questionably-costumed cohorts said, “You can’t always get what you want.” But that doesn’t mean it’s okay for anyone else to have it either. When you do finally get what you want, the problem is there’s always someone that’s trying to take it away. And all that wanting makes us blind to the fact that things aren’t exactly what we think they are. Maybe it’s better sometimes to just get what you need. -- N
Although Trooping the Colour is also known as the Queen's Birthday Parade, this prime piece of pageantry doesn't take place on Her Maj’s actual birthday (that's on April 21) but on her official birthday (a Saturday in June being more likely to provide sunshine for the proceedings). You can watch along the Mall or from the edge of St James’s Park for free but you'll need to arrive well before events begin at 10am to be far enough forward to get a good view. It will come as no surprise that the limited grandstand seating is highly sought after and needs to be applied for at the beginning of the year.

Movies on the River
Watch a movie on the top deck of a boat after a cruise along the River Thames.. For five nights a week from early June to August, our movie boat will offer a food and drink-fuelled sunset cruise from the Tower of London. Once the sun disappears, you’ll dock up in the shadow of some of London's most awe-inspiring sights and play a movie on an open-air top deck. There are classic movies you love, including ‘Grease, ‘Dirty Dancing’ and ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, as well as recent hits including ‘A Star Is Born’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘The Greatest Showman.’
