July 2015 - Film
In terms of new films this month, here are two recommendations that you may find entertaining in the cinema this month.
Films in July:
The Kings of Tampa return for 'Magic Mike XXL'. Three years after Mike stopped stripping to pursue his custom furniture business, the remaining Kings are ready to quit too. But they want to do it their way: with one last spectacular performance at a stripping convention in Myrtle Beach, and with Mike up on stage as well. On a road trip to their final show, they soon realise that they're going to need to learn some new moves. 'Magic Mike XXL' sees Channing Tatum return to Florida's strip clubs as star, writer and producer of the sequel to 2012's smash hit. My rating 9/10.
He said he'd be back. In the war against the machines, John Connor discovers that Skynet has sent a Terminator back to 1984 to kill his mother before he's born. He sends Kyle Reese back to protect her, but Reese finds the past radically altered. Sarah Connor is battle-hardened and working with a re-programmed Terminator, and a new T-1000 has been sent back to kill her. They must figure out why everything has changed and stop Judgment Day from happening. Directed by Alan Taylor ('Thor: The Dark World') and starring Emilia Clarke ('Game Of Thrones'), 'Terminator: Genisys' is a reinvention of the legendary sci-fi series. My rating 8/10.
