3 Ways to Wear Gold Shadow

This month why not try to style the most brilliant and versatile shade of the season...

1. Beachy:

Gold shadow on the inner corners plus curled lashes makes your eyes look big and bright. Skip mascara - no-one wears that on the beach.

Adding bronzer is a sexy no-brainer. Warm up the look by sweeping one over the cheeks, the bridge of the nose and around the hairline.

Get beachy waves with a two inch curling iron. Hold it vertically and wrap random sections around the barrel, leaving out the ends.

2. Romantic:

Two golds are better than one so use a delicate white-gold on the lids and a deeper golden bronze in the creases for soft definition.

For luminous skin, tap a champagne coloured highlighter on the cheekbones, down the nose and along the Cupid's bow.

Bright gold hair accessories play off the sheen on your eyes and cheeks to basically bathe you in candlelight. Wear them with a soft updo.

3. Subversive:

Rimming the eyes with black liquid liner and painting shimmery gold cream around it is a glam rock take on the cat eye.

All the attention is on your eyes, so groom your brows. As for the rest of your makeup, keep it fresh (concealer, lip balm and that's it)

Pairing gold makeup with loose, air dried hair like wearing a cocktail dress with a leather jacket - totally unexpected and very cool.
