Spring/summer 2017's fashion trends have stylists, buyers, editors and anyone else who is interested super-duper, spin-around-your-closet excited. Why? Well, it's an inherently upbeat season. From the many no-holds-barred interpretations on the 1980s (think lamé, jumbo frills, shoulders, bling and legs) to the most saturated colour palette we've seen in a decade (fuchsia, scarlet, heliotrope, hazmat, more fuchsia!), joy is oozing from every stitch and every seam.
Lea Michele looked super chic on the Ellen DeGeneres Show this week rocking a pink and blue floral midi dress teamed with coordination velvet barely there heeled sandals. I love this ladylike look on Lea, the pretty print is perfect for spring; meanwhile the fit and flare silhouette is super flattering and the three quarter length sleeves lend it an elegant edge.
