124th Post - August Overview

Thamesmead Festival 

Thamesmead Festival has been going for 52 years now, so it knows a thing or two about how to throw an epic party. Expect a line-up of brilliant acts across three stages including the voice of Basement Jazz Kele Le Roc, soul singer Terri Walker – the pipes behind Shanks & Bigfoot hit ‘Sing-A-Long’, plus MOBO-winning conscious rapper Still Shadey and award-winning funk and soul outfit Groove 101. Around the festival site, you’ll also find community stalls and home-cooked Nigerian food.
