Sunrise on the Reaping chronicles the harrowing events of the 50th Hunger Games, The Second Quarter Quell, which demanded double the number of tributes from each district. The story follows a sixteen-year-old Haymitch Abernathy as he is reaped from District 12 and forced into a deceptively beautiful but lethal arena alongside forty-seven other children. Demonstrating sharp wit and forming strategic alliances, Haymitch ultimately survives by using the arena's own forcefield against his final opponent, exposing a flaw in the Capitol’s design. However, his clever victory enrages President Snow, who brutally retaliates by murdering Haymitch's family and girlfriend, leaving him a broken, traumatised victor who retreats into alcoholism, setting the stage for the deeply scarred mentor Katniss Everdeen meets decades later.

Focker-in-Law follows a grown-up Henry Focker as he brings his girlfriend, Olivia Jones—a life coach and former FBI hostage negotiator—home to meet his eccentric family. When Greg Focker discovers his son's plan to propose, he panics, viewing Olivia as a manipulative match who will upend Henry's life. In a comedic twist of karma, Greg finds himself stepping into the shoes of his own father-in-law, Jack Byrnes, by launching a covert investigation into the newcomer. However, Greg's paternal anxiety leaves him completely isolated when the rest of the Focker and Byrnes clan instantly embrace Olivia, turning his attempt at protecting his son into a chaotic battle of wits.
