70th Post - February Overview
Finally, here are my recommendations for February, hope you enjoy them and find them interesting to watch, listen and eat. In the meantime, February has a lot to offer especially in London, so head this month and take in all the best new events, exhibitions and best events in the capital.
Orchids Festival at Kew Gardens:
Kew Gardens’ celebration of the orchid returns for its twenty-fifth year, this time with a focus on the plant life of Indonesia. Kew’s Orchids festival will see the botanical gardens’ tropical greenhouse bursting with colourful species, and in 2020 they will reflect the country’s diverse landscape – from tropical rainforests to spectacular volcanos. The Prince of Wales Conservatory will be filled with the sights, smells and sounds of Indonesia. Highlights will include a dramatic central pond display filled with bright orange orangutans, life-sized animals and an erupting volcano all made up of hundreds of stunning orchid blossoms. There’ll also be an impressive carnivorous pitcher plant archway.
But, if you feel like relaxing this month then put your feet up and enjoy Vogue magazine, full of celebrity gossip, style and secrets!! The Prince Of Egypt: The Musical:
The Prince Of Egypt is based on the award-winning DreamWorks Animation film which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. A stunning blend of traditional animation and computer-generated imagery, it remains one of the most beloved and acclaimed animated feature films of all time. The musical features 10 new songs written by Stephen Schwartz, together with 5 of his acclaimed songs from the DreamWorks Animation film, including Deliver Us, All I Ever Wanted, Through Heaven’s Eyes and the Academy Award®-winning When You Believe.
