More of us are suffering from sensitive skin than ever before. 32% of British women would describe their skin as sensitive (rising to 39% of women aged 16-24 and 40% among 25-34 year-olds). Makeup remover - Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, £10.80, Bioderma

Specifically formulated for dry, compromised skin with visible redness, this contains restorative centella asiatica alongside soothing and softening wild plum.
Foundation - Original Foundation SPF15, £27, Bareminerals
Mineral foundations are the safer bet when it comes to sensitive skin and the OG from Bareminerals can be built from sheer to full coverage in no time. There's also a matte version for those who need a little more oil control.
