This Year's Best Dresses - 2019

This has seen some great style and fashion on the red carpet and here we have the stars that raised the bar for red carpet glamour.... Here we have the best red carpet moments this year...

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley:

The English beauty, 31, looked dazzling in a form-fitting silver Versace dress while at the event with fiancé Jason Statham. The Oscars attracted a sea of famous faces, from Lady Gaga to Helen Mirren. And, of course, each attendee pulled out all the stops when it came to their choice of attire. It was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who caught our eye thanks to her stunning dress by Versace. This bespoke design incorporated an asymmetric neckline, figure-hugging fit and thigh-high slit to create a show-stopping aesthetic. We have fallen hard for the shimmering silver finish, which would make an entrance on every outing!

 Angelina Jolie:

Angelina Jolie's enchanting powers don't only exist on-screen. The actress and consistent style icon has a magical take on red-carpet dressing too. In her latest spellbinding look, the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil star glittered at the film's London premiere, wearing a beaded white gown with an embellished cape. The Ralph & Russo Couture ensemble was equal parts delicate and strong, with bustier-inspired gold piping on the chest and pointed metallic shoulder pads. To complete the witchy theme, it appears there were beaded silver spiders accenting the sheer part of Jolie's cape.

Taylor, who plays Bombalurina in the film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical, has a long-established relationship with the design house, wearing a gown by the late designer for the 2014 MET Gala.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge:

Phoebe Waller-Bridge stars as Fleabag, the London-born actress, who is also the writer and producer of the hugely successful TV show Killing Eve, stole the show in her plunging gown which featured a full skirt made of layers of tulle. A delicate metallic detail at the waist highlighted her slim figure and sparkled when she took to the stage to collect her accolades.

Lea Michele:

For Lea Michele's wedding dress, the bride went for a classic -- and stunning -- strapless silhouette, complete with a draped bodice and full, layered skirt. Hair, makeup and jewellery stayed simple, with her brown locks tied back in a chignon at the nape of her neck. The veil was long and dramatic, a picture perfect foil to a gown fit for a princess straight out of a Disney movie.
