The film follows Owen, recently dumped, and Allie, a hopeful romantic, who may be the only two singles in New York City looking for more than a fleeting encounter. On this unique night, they meet and feel an immediate spark, but a series of misadventures, misunderstandings, and side quests complicate their evening, keeping them apart as they navigate the city in pursuit of connection and romance 

Set in a slightly fictionalised version of New York, the story explores the challenges of finding genuine love in a world where intimacy is legally restricted to a single night each year. As Owen and Allie race toward and away from each other, they discover that the one thing they truly desire may be closer than they think 

Directed and produced by Will Gluck and based on a script by Travis Braun, the film stars Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner, with supporting appearances by Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, Molly Ringwald, LeVar Burton, Este Haim, and King Princess. The movie combines humour, romance, and a fresh take on modern dating, promising a witty and swoony experience for audiences.
